Seal before it gets hot
Check door sweeps, window seals, and the gaps where pipes and cables enter the building. As outdoor temperatures climb, indoor spaces become the attractive option, and those small openings are the route in.
Manage moisture indoors
Air-conditioning condensate, damp bathrooms and under-sink cupboards create exactly the humid microclimate cockroaches and silverfish look for. Check condensate trays and drain lines at the start of the season.
Book preventive, not reactive
A preventive treatment before peak season is cheaper and less disruptive than clearing an established infestation in the middle of it. If you only book pest control once a year, this is the time to do it.
